LITTLE DOG ADVENTURES – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to Little Dog Adventures. By booking our services, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. These ensure the safety, comfort and wellbeing of your dog, as well as the smooth running of our service.

1. General Agreement

1.1 By using Little Dog Adventures, you agree that:

• All information provided about your dog is accurate and up to date.

• You have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

• You are the legal owner of the dog or authorised to make decisions on their behalf.

1.2 Little Dog Adventures reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website.

2. Dog Eligibility

2.1 We specialise exclusively in small breeds up to approx. 10kg.
Larger dogs cannot be accepted for safety reasons.
2.2 Your dog must:

• Be fully vaccinated (including kennel cough, if applicable)

• Be microchipped (as required by UK law)

• Wear a secure collar/harness with ID tag

• Be parasite-free (fleas, ticks, worms)

2.3 We cannot walk unwell dogs or dogs showing signs of contagious illness.

3. Behaviour & Suitability

3.1 Your dog must not pose a risk to other dogs or the walker.
3.2 We accept shy, nervous and reactive small dogs for solo walks only, where appropriate.
3.3 If your dog shows behaviour that makes group walking unsafe or unsuitable, we may:

• Move them to solo walks (additional cost may apply)

• Decline or discontinue service if required for safety

Your dog’s wellbeing, and the safety of all dogs in our care, is our priority.

4. Group Walks

4.1 Group walks have a maximum of 4 small dogs.
4.2 Dogs are matched based on size, temperament and walking style.
4.3 We may adjust group composition at any time for safety, harmony or comfort.

5. Pick-Up & Drop-Off

5.1 Dogs are collected and returned to the agreed address within a flexible time window depending on the day’s schedule, traffic and weather.
5.2 If we cannot access your property due to a locked door, broken key safe, faulty code etc., the walk may be cancelled and full fees will apply.

6. Leads & Equipment

6.1 Dogs are walked on lead at all times for safety.
6.2 Owners must provide a safe, well-fitting harness or collar.
If equipment is unsafe, we may use our own lead or harness.

7. Weather Policy

7.1 Walks may be shortened, rescheduled or replaced with enrichment/home visits in extreme weather, including:

• Heatwaves

• Storms

• Dangerous icy conditions

This is for the safety of your dog.
7.2 No refunds are given for weather-related adjustments, but we always provide an appropriate alternative.

8. Payment & Charges

8.1 Payment is required:

• Weekly, or

• At the time of booking (depending on your arrangement)

8.2 We accept payment via bank transfer (details provided on invoice).
8.3 Weekend and bank holiday walks carry a £5 supplement.
8.4 Mileage charges may apply for areas outside our standard coverage.

9. Cancellations

9.1 Owner Cancellations:

• More than 24 hours’ notice: no charge

• Less than 24 hours’ notice: full fee payable

9.2 Little Dog Adventures Cancellations:
If we need to cancel due to illness, emergency or unsafe weather, you will not be charged and we will aim to reschedule where possible.

10. Emergencies & Vet Care

10.1 In the event of an emergency, we will:

• Attempt to contact you immediately

• Take your dog to your nominated vet if necessary

• If your vet is unavailable, take your dog to the nearest available veterinary practice

10.2 Owners are responsible for all veterinary costs.
10.3 We will always act in the best interests of your dog.

11. Keys & Home Access

11.1 Keys, key safe codes and access details are stored securely and never labelled with your address.
11.2 By providing access, you consent to us entering your property solely for the agreed service.

12. Photos & Updates

12.1 With your permission, we may take photos/video of your dog for updates or social media.
12.2 No identifying information (address, location) will ever be shared.

13. Liability

13.1 We are fully insured, but cannot accept liability for:

• Pre-existing conditions or injuries

• Damage to your property caused by your dog

• Illness arising from environmental factors outside our control (e.g., pollen, grass seeds)

• Severe behavioural issues not disclosed at the time of booking

13.2 Dogs are walked at the owner’s risk.

14. Termination of Service

14.1 Little Dog Adventures reserves the right to cancel services immediately if:

• A dog becomes unsafe to walk

• Payment is repeatedly late

• The dog’s needs no longer align with our specialist small-breed service
   

15. Acceptance of Terms

By booking any service with Little Dog Adventures, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
